Using the photos
Every photo on ScrollPhotos is free to use, for anything, commercial use included, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. You may share it, print it, crop it or build on it, as long as you give credit.
How to credit
Next to the photo, or where credits go in what you make, write:
Photo: 001 / ScrollPhotos (scrollphotos.com), CC BY 4.0
with the photographer's name as it shows on the photo, here 001, and a link to the photo's page where you can. If you changed the photo, say so (“cropped”, “colours adjusted”). Under each photo, Map then Use this photo has a Copy the credit button with all of it.
Good to know
- The licence can't be taken back: a photo used under it may go on being used, even if it's later removed from ScrollPhotos.
- It covers the photographer's copyright only. People, buildings, artworks or brands in a photo may have rights of their own, which this licence doesn't give you.
- Each photo's exact location is part of it: its image files carry the place it was taken, as well as its date, camera, licence and credit.
- Using a photo doesn't mean its photographer or ScrollPhotos endorses you or what you make.
